TECH RIDERS vary greatly if for performances (with or without live video) or live films.
Here is a very basic tech rider for a solo performance.
Technical Requirements:
- The set-up time is 1 hr to 5 hrs
- Sound Check requires a minimum of 1 hr of full use of the audio/visual system at the venue, with technicians on hand.
- The set-up can be moved off-stage prior to the performance but it is preferred that it not be moved. It can be broken down or moved after the performance (shortest possible breakdown time is 10 minutes.)
Performer brings all equipment EXCEPT:
Stage set-up:
- One small table (app 3~4 ft x 2 ft) to be set stage left.
- AC power strip at table.
Audio:
- A small Mackie mixer (4 line in and one mic in ) available at table
- stereo PA with subwoofer, preferably doubled in back of audience.
- cables to connect stage mixer to house mixer / PA (XLR or 1/4")
- Mic stand with boom (I will bring the mic)
Stage monitors are rarely required
Video:
Depending on performance.
Lighting:
- Complete control of lighting levels in room for duration of performance (room should be dark with spot on Laetitia who is standing in the middle front stage)
